It is also more productive and quicker than calling individuals, or implementing face-to-face meetings, saving the business and management valuable time.

Also if the any given message is put in writing then you know the employee is in receipt, and can adhere to any given instructions. The use of Outlook can be vital within a business.

It can be used to help organise a diary, prioritise tasks, with the added benefit of stipulating deadlines. Follow up can be given to ensure tasks are being met by you, management and colleagues. It's also helps to improve productivity and ensure that that is not a clash in work deadlines thus helping productivity.

Browsing the Internet has many advantages providing it is used primarily for work purposes. You can also utilise the Internet to attract traffic and business.

Managing information This section will help you to evidence Learning Outcome 2: Understand how to manage electronic and paper-based information. Learning objective Place in Assessment 2.

Explain the purpose of agreeing objectives and deadlines when researching information. Employment laws can be changed, amended and updated at any time prior to implementation so prompt research will be needed within clear set deadline dates.

If advice is given to businesses containing out of date information on how to adhere to the new laws then this may cost businesses dearly. So it is imperative that deadlines and clear objectives on how the new laws will impact businesses are drawn prior to implementation.They are also required components of the Level 2 and 3 Apprenticeships in Business and Administration.
